Abstract

Pasar Dupa merupakan tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan transaksi jual beli. Pedagang dan pembeli dipasar dupa masih sangat lemah dalam melakukan penerapan protokol kesehatan untuk pencegahan COVID-19 seperti tempat pencuci tangan dipasar dupa tersebut, menggunakan masker dan menjaga jarak. Sedangkan untuk mencegah penularan COVID-19 seharusnya pedagang harus selalu menggunakan masker untuk mengurangi terpaparnya COVID-19 dan mencuci tangan setelah melakukan transaksi jual beli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinan pencegahan COVID-19 pada pedagang di Pasar Pagi Dupa Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi sebanyak 217 pedagang dengan sampel berjumlah 80 responden menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Pasar Pagi Dupa Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan proporsi tidak mencegah COVID-19 sebesar 77,5%. Determinan yang ada hubungan dengan pencegahan COVID-19 pada pedagang adalah pengetahuan (p value=0,033) dengan POR 95% CI 5,778 (1,221-27,334), sikap (p value=0,004) dengan POR 95% CI 9,103 (1,928-42,990), ketersediaan APD (p value=0,017) dengan POR 95% CI 10,737 (1,341-85,988) dan peran petugas pasar (p value=0,418) dengan POR 95% CI 1,878 (0,596-5,919). Disarankan kepada seluruh pedagang Pasar Pagi Dupa untuk menyediakan APD seperti, masker yang layak dan sarana mencuci tangan setelah beraktifitas dan bagi pengurus pasar untuk dapat membantu menyediakan masker dan melengkapi saran cuci tangan di Pasar Pagi Dupa.

The Dupa Market is a place where buying and selling transactions are carried out. Traders and buyers in the incense market are still very weak in implementing health protocols for the prevention of COVID-19, such as washing hands at the incense market, using masks and maintaining distance. Meanwhile, to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, traders should always wear masks to reduce exposure to COVID-19 and wash their hands after making buying and selling transactions. This study aims to determine the determinants of COVID-19 prevention among traders at Pasar Pagi Dupa, Marpoyan Damai District in 2021. This type of research uses quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The population is 217 traders with a sample of 80 respondents using simple random sampling technique. The research location was carried out at the Morning Dupa Market, Marpoyan Damai District in June-June 2021. The results of this study showed the proportion of not preventing COVID-19 was 77.5%. The determinants that have a relationship with COVID-19 prevention among traders are knowledge (p value = 0.033) with POR 95% CI 5,778 (1,221-27,334), attitude (p value = 0.004) with POR 95% CI 9,103 (1,928-42,990), availability of PPE (p value = 0.017) with 95% CI 10.737 (1.341-85.988) and there is no relationship between the role of market officers (p value = 0.418) and 95% CI 1.878 (0.596-5.919). It is recommended to all traders of the Morning Dupa Market to provide PPE such as proper masks and facilities for washing hands after activities and for market administrators to be able to help provide masks and complete hand washing suggestions at the Morning Dupa Market.
